A Colorado and Parker native, I graduated from Ponderosa High School right here in Parker. I then went to undergraduate school at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 1999, with a major in Social Sciences and a license for elementary education with an endorsement in ESL. Right out of college, I began teaching kindergarten. While I loved being in the classroom, I realized that I wanted to continue my education and become a school psychologist. So...I spent my days teaching and my evenings learning! In 2006, I finished my educational specialist degree in School Psychology from CU-Denver. My teaching journey has led me back to Douglas County and I am proud to be employed by the same district I once knew as a learner.
My husband and I are happy to be settled home here in Parker. We have two children, a boy and a girl. My son will be in seventh grade at Cimarron Middle School and my daughter will be a fifth grader right here at Gold Rush!
I believe Gold Rush is such an amazing school and I am so excited to be a staff member and parent here!
